As you have explored this online exhibit, we hope you have come to understand that there is no one "immigrant experience" in Minnesota. Everyone has a story and a uniquely meaningful journey as they have made a new home in this state. The immigration cycle of survival, establishment, and belonging affects different immigrants in different ways. But it can also provide connection and empathy despite outward differences.
