What is your favorite item in the Minnesota Digital Library (MDL)? We asked this question to several organizations that contribute historical and cultural materials to MDL. Our contributors include historical societies, libraries, archives, and cultural organizations across Minnesota.
This year, ten organizations selected documents and photographs from their collections and shared their stories. While they are all unique, each item in this exhibit shares a significant and sometimes unexpected connection to the community from which it comes. Some of these items are not well known outside of their archives, and this is our chance to share them more widely.
