The Roseau Fire burned the downtown buildings up to Mike Holm's barber shop. Holm's barber shop was saved by pouring water on blankets and wet sawdust.
Members of the first orchestra organized at Roseau. Mike Holm was a violinist and the director. Also playing instruments were Mr. Larson, violin, Charles Clark, cornet, O. A. Holm, piccolo, and Gust Oveson, organ.

View of Main Street in Roseau. The C. A. Pearson Drug Store is located on the west side of the Main Street. Confectionery stores (selling cigars, etc.) were located on both sides of the street. Ole A. Holm's photography studio was located on the west side of Main Street. A beer parlor was located on the east side of Main Street.
View of the Concord "Mudwagon" Stagecoach named the "Medora" at the stop on Main Street in Roseau in front of the Pioneer Drug Store. Stagecoach came from Stephen to Roseau. Several residents of the town are included in this photograph.
