The Kongsvinger Symphonia Band, associated with Kongsvinger Free Lutheran Church of Rendsville Township, existed from ca. 1907 until 1924. The band produced a concert series and played for community events in the surrounding area. Originally directed by Rev. Abs from Hancock, it was later directed by Adolph Sherstad.
