Chiropractic student uses an EKG matching to read another student's heart rhythms on the St. Paul campus. In 1983, to accommodate growth in student population and programs, the college moved to its current location in Bloomington, Minnesota. In 1999, Northwestern College of Chiropractic was renamed Northwestern Health Sciences University to reflect its addition of programs in other alternative medicine fields
