Description:: Two swatches were woven by Hilma Berglund, on cotton warps with linen wefts. The first swatch (3cm x 28cm) is Summer and Winter. A hand-printed paper label is sewn to the back of the swatch. The second (4cm x 16.5cm) is labeled "Crackle Weave/spacing used here. The swatch appears to have been mended. Acompanying the swatches is a vintage copy of the drafts and instructions that were sent to Twin City Weavers' guild members inviting them to send in results of their experiments with the two weave structures.
