This international mining trade publication began as a weekly in Duluth, Minnesota, in 1912, changing its name to Skillings' Mining Review in July 1916 (dropping the apostrophe in 1993). Regular features include the opening of prominent mines, industry mergers, labor strikes, production benchmarks, revenue summaries, biographical sketches, and anecdotal insights into mining towns and lifestyles.
