The district's size was reduced in 1929, dropping Koochiching county. Vocational training and employment for adults included: shoe shining, shoe repairing, general farming, rabbit raising, poultry raising, elevator operating, salesmanship, peddling, domestic service, and piano repair and tuning. This agency operated under the State Department for the Blind, Children's Bureau, Board of Control and the St. Louis County Board of Commissioners. Its work was for the prevention and treatment of people with blindness. The reports give objectives, staff, and statistics. Its district included St. Louis, Carlton, Itasca, Cook, and Lake Counties.

Congressional Act H. R. 13502, dated January 8, 1929 authorizing the State of Minnesota and the State of Wisconsin to construct, maintain and operate a free highway bridge across the Saint Croix river at or near Stillwater, Minnesota.
This printed Constitution of the Minnesota Academy of Science is from around 1937. It is very similar to the 1933 Constitution but has removed the associate membership category; the By-Laws set the annual dues as "one dollar for each member." The election process for members is also different, requiring nomination by a member, recommendation by the Council, and a two-thirds vote of the organization, at which point "he shall be duly elected."

The document is an overview of the Fact Finder radio program, which ran continuously every week from Oct. 5, 1938 - June 30, 1939. The main goal of the program was to entertain and instruct as much as possible. The radio scripts were written by members of the Minnesota Library Association radio committee in the Minneapolis Public Library.
Prior to the arrival of the Benedictines in the summer of 1856, Father Francis Pierz was in charge of the missionary work among the Native Americans for the Diocese of St. Paul. He also promoted German immigration in central Minnesota. Includes an account of the Dakota War in 1862.
