Chiropractic faculty member Linda Esch gives a spinal adjustment to a baby on the St. Paul campus. In 1983, to accommodate growth in student population and programs, the college moved to its current location in Bloomington, Minnesota. In 1999, Northwestern College of Chiropractic was renamed Northwestern Health Sciences University to reflect its addition of programs in other alternative medicine fields.
Anita Anker (Branin) joined Minitex in 1981 working first with MULS. She later directed the Document Delivery program. She left Minitex July 24, 1996. For a more complete description, see the MINITEX Messenger, volume 14, number 1 (August 28, 1996).
The Augsburg Park Library at 7100 Nicollet Avenue South, Richfield, Minnesota, opened in February of 1975. Following the purchase of 2.8 acres of land by Hennepin County from the City of Richfield for $99,500, InterDesign, Inc. was chosen as the architect and the Henry O. Mikkelson Company as the builder. The new building was two and a half times larger than its predecessor, the Richfield Library at 70th Street and NIcollet Avenue.

Beach Volleyball, possibly at Bde Maka Ska, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Bde Maka Ska is Dakota for "White Earth Lake," and was previously known as "Lake Calhoun."
John Dyer, Lars Hanson and Joe Dickenson were the top three laser sailors. Laser sailboats are car top carried. There are two lasers in the picture. On this particular Thanksgiving, there had been 12 inches of snow the night before.
Stacks, periodical section and patrons using the Central Library of the Minneapolis Public Library. This facility, at 300 Nicollet Mall, was built in 1961 and housed the library until 2002.
