County Roads 3; County Road 29; County Road 45; County Road 58; Federal Highway 218; Neveln School is located on Section 1 within city limits. Woodson Rural School District 26 is located on the southwest corner of Section 1. The Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul Railroad cuts diagonally southeast through the county to Le Roy. It also shares a line with the Chicago Great Western Railroad traveling south into Iowa and to the north on separate lines. Austin Airport on east side of Section 1. East Side Lake (man-made lake) located on Section 2. Mill Pond (man-made); agriculture; business district. Andyville is located on the west side of Section 15. The Ramsey School District 44 is located on the southeast corner of Section 22. The Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul Railroad cuts a southwest path through the corner of Section 22. - Aerial View of Lansing Township Sections 27, 28, 33 and 34 shows farmland, trees, roads and homes. The City of Austin expands across most of Sections 33 and 34, including the roadways; State Highway 16, (which is reconstructed into Interstate 90), County Road 45, and Federal Highway 218. Mapleview is located on the south side of Section 27 and the north side of Section 34. The Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul Railroad serve the area as well as the Hormel Foods Plant. Oakwood Cemetery rests on the south side of Mapleview in Section 34.
