Constructed on the north side of Selke Field in 1947, these units housed military veterans and, later, married students. The buildings were razed in 1968.
This view of Crosby, Minnesota, taken from the water tower, shows the Spalding Hotel in the center and the White School at center top. The Miner's Hospital is the three-story building to the left of the school. A message on the back to Mrs. Chas. Berg is in a language other than English.
View of Fond du Lac. One-hundred Thirty-First Avenue West is at the far right. The boat landing is One-hundred Thirty-Third avenue west. Excursion boats like the Montauk (built in 1890) made daily trips along the St. Louis River to Fond du Lac.
