Students and their horses, The first equestrian class in the history of the Teachers College was begun in the fall semester of 1941 with Evangeline Jaffurs as Instructor. Part of the class is shown with their horses, they are (left to right), Lois Bachman, Mary Ellen McKenzie, May Steints, Gene Bayle, Ivine Erickson, Rosabel LabBelle and Miss Jaffurs, Instructor.
Constructed on the north side of Selke Field in 1947, these units housed military veterans and, later, married students. The buildings were razed in 1968.
Senior class of 1910 poses in caps and gowns on the steps of Laird Hall on the Carleton College campus. Typewritten text on back reads "Class of 1910 Oct. 9 I believe 1909. Dr. Cowling was to be inaugurated that day. We, as the senior [sic] class, wore caps and gowns for the first time that day and carried our class flower, the golden chrysanthanum [sic], Outside of the Congregational Church I think it was, after the inaugural ceremonies, we formed a double line on each side of the walk and crossed our long stemmed flowers over Dr. Cowling's head as he walked from the church."

Boyles, Frances Axtell, Wilson A. Katter. North Central Bible Institute (NCBI) was founded in 1930. In 1938, North Central Business College (NCBC) was created and added to the school's title. NCBC was dropped in 1945, and, in 1946, NCBI became NCBI&TS when a Theological Seminary (TS) was added. The seminary remained until 1949. North Central Bible Institute was renamed North Central Bible College in 1957. The most recent name change was in 1998, when North Central Bible College became North Central University.
