The fourth bulletin from the Winona Free Public Library's by-laws, chapter 2, article 3, and chapter 1, article 3. The bulletin details the librarian's duties, as well as the assistant librarian, Miss Black, and the first attendant, Miss Von Rohr. It is signed by the library's Executive Committee, Fred S. Bell, Edward Lees, and Mrs. S. W. Morgan.

A hand written document stating the creation of the Young Men's Library Association in Winona, Minnesota, and its Board of Directors. Officers elected included Gilbert R. Tucker, president; O. P. Chisholm, vice-president; William W. Painter, treasurer; Sheldon C. Carey, secretary. Trustees for the first year were Thomas Simpson, F. E. Shandrew, E. E. Youmans, William Sinclair and J. W. Stevens.
In an oral history conducted by John Carter on October 7, 1991, Edward V. Anderson discussed his experiences both in training and combat as a B-24 pilot in the European Theater during World War II. Born and raised in Illinois, Anderson enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1942. In this interview, Anderson described his training experiences to become a B-24 pilot and flying several missions to bomb German oil storage tanks. Lastly, Anderson details what the final days of the war were like and briefly describes his life post-war, which included his wife, Lucy and their five children: David, Howard, Carol, Joyce and Timothy. Anderson was born on April 14, 1923, and passed away on March 13, 2011.
