Frank M. Eddy (1856-1929) was the first native Minnesotan to represent our state in Congress. Eddy was Pope County clerk of court for ten years, Seventh District Representative to Congress (1895-1903), publisher of the Sauk Centre Herald (1916), and worked in the Minnesota Secretary of State's office (1918-1929).
