Aerial View of Adams Township Sections 1, 2, 11 and 12 shows farmland, trees, roads and homes. Adams was originally platted in 1868 in Section 11. County Road 7 and State Highway 56 provide transportation routes through these sections. Adams School District 8 is located in Section 11. The Sacred Heart Cemetery is located south of Adams on Section 11, one block south of Catholic Church. The Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul Railroad traveled along the south side of Adams, parallel with State Highway 56.
