Program for the 78th annual conference of the Minnesota Library Association held October 25th-27th, 1973 at the Radisson Hotel, Minneapolis, Minnesota. The theme was "MLA at Work." This year MLA moved away from General Sessions, and offered programs divided and sponsored by MLA divisions, sections, and round tables. There was an all conference dinner with speaker Ruth Warncke on the topic of "Continuing Education-Whose Responsibility?"

A major project of the Minnesota National Library Week Committee, meeting is chaired by Rod Searle, with featured speaker is John C. Frantz, Director of the Brooklyn Public Library, on the topic of "Library Needs in a Changing World." Interest areas include special, public, academic, and school libraries, and library trustees. Particants will take part in discussion groups on various topics including library needs and service and present recommendations at the end of the meeting.

Hennepin Technical College began as Suburban Hennepin County Area Vocational Technical Centers - District 287 in 1972. Through the years the name was changed to Hennepin Technical Center, Hennepin Technical Institute, and currently Hennepin Technical College.
