The Justice of the Peace docket is a handwritten record of civil and criminal cases heard by Justices of the Peace in Otsego, Minnesota from 1884 to 1921. These records include the names of plaintiffs and defendants, arresting constables, evidence presented, and judgments made. These details reflect local values, customs, and personalities. Included are Justices of the Peace: Z. L. Case, Charles Snow, A. W. Praught, A. Plaisance, Joseph McDonald, D. W. M Leod, and Edson Washburn, Jr. Also included are Constables A. J. Wood, L. B. Hamlet, Barnard Duffy, W. H. LaPlant, Theodore Aydt, Edmund Fisetle, and J. A. McEachern.
Tron Midtaune's home built in 1882. They lived in this for nine years. Six children born in this time. Andrew Hexum standing near the corner. Mrs. Jens Ramlo (Christine Midtaune) and Caroline Midtaune at the door. Tron Midtaune is near the door.
Charles Forbes was Professor Natural Sciences at Macalester College from 1885-1892. The photograph is of the interior of his house on Summit Avenue in St. Paul. He is seated in the chair by the fireplace. Two of his children are also in the photograph. The oil painting over the fireplace is of the schooner yacht "America", painted by Dr. Forbes.

View is to the southeast from the Moorhead side of the Red River from just north of present Center Avenue Bridge. Low water level in river, there is a mud bar visible in the middle of the channel in the foreground. On the extreme left the Alsop Line's grain elevator is just visible, a barge is tied up next to it. Two other barges and the Alsop Line's steamboat "Pluck" are tied up to the Moorhead bank in the distance. Also visible is the Northern Pacific Railway bridge, the Moorhead Manufacturing Company Flour Mill and the Main Avenue bridge at extreme right.
View is to the northwest from Front Street (Center Avenue) and 9th Street. The Grand Pacific Hotel stands across the intersection. At extreme right is visible the platform for the Great Northern Railway, the Hotel also served as the GNR passenger depot.
