According to description on the verso appears to have been part of a set taken for the opening of the Northern Pacific Railroad in Minneapolis; street decorations; electric power pole; streetcar tracks, unpaved streets, and buildings.

Several men, woman and children aboard the steamboat "The Minnie Corliss" at her dock in Detroit, Minnesota (became Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, in 1926). The captain of the steamboat was J.H. Smith and the proprietors were Blanding and Smith.
Image shows freshly cleared dirt road lined with clapboard sided single story structures. The Old Two Harbors courthouse is on the right side of the image.
This photo shows May, Nellie, and Jessie McOuat in a horse-drawn wagon going north on Minnesota Avenue in St. Peter from a location in front of the Courthouse.
This color map of the layout of Duluth, Minnesota, in 1886, was carefully compiled from the official records and actual surveys, and drawn at a scale of 800 feet to one inch. It includes streets, block numbers, docks, railroads, public parks, and neighborhood divisions. Information about lot sizes and street widths is included.

Landscape view; the view checked on the reverse of the card is: "View of Stone Arch Bridge." the bridge was completed in 1881-1884. The view might be from Hennepin Island. This bridge was built for the St. Paul, Minneapolis and Manitoba Railroad; James J. Hill's originally constructed the bridge with 20 catenary's arches.

Image of the tugboat, Ella G. Stone, anchored off of the rocky shoreline in Burlington Bay. The Ella G. Stone was the first Duluth and Iron Range Company Tug used to supply workers and materials to build railroads and ore docks in Two Harbors (1883-1896).
This 1889 map of the Duluth area (including parts of St. Louis and Carlton counties in Minnesota and Douglas County in Wisconsin) was compiled and drawn from U.S. Land and Coast Surveys by R.H.L. Jewett. It was done at a scale of one inch to one mile, and includes roads, railroads, rivers, streams, and lakes.
View of the Concord "Mudwagon" Stagecoach named the "Medora" at the stop on Main Street in Roseau in front of the Pioneer Drug Store. Stagecoach came from Stephen to Roseau. Several residents of the town are included in this photograph.
The "Arthur Orr" was a 286 foot, 2,329 ton steel package freighter. It was wrecked at the mouth of the Baptism River on Lake Superior's North Shore. It was loaded with flour, copper and shingles. Salvage and repairs cost $10,000.
