Children's library program held on the second floor of the Ticknor Building at Second Avenue and Main Street. This was the Anoka Public Library at that time.
View is to the east from the west side of 6th Street South just south of Main Avenue. The recently constructed Moorhead Public Library stands on the corner across the intersection. Also visible are adjacent houses on 6th Street South at right and businesses on Main Avenue to left.
Twelve girls use the library at the St. Paul Girls' Home (orphanage), 933 Carroll Ave., St. Paul. An unidentified Sister of St. Joseph helps two of the students.
