Photograph showing the exterior of St. Agatha's Conservatory. The first location (1884-1886) of St. Agatha's Conservatory of Art and Music was in the Lick house, on 10th and Main streets. (It had belonged to Dr. William Lick, an eye doctor charged with the murder of his wife.) Classes of music and needlework were offered here. The house also served as a residence for about 20 Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet teaching in downtown Catholic grade schools.

Sister Ethelbert Krenik (1st row, 3rd from the left), second administrator (1929-1938) of the St. Cloud Hospital, attended the Northwest Hospitals Convention at Eli Lilly & Company.
The first location (1887-1890) of St. Mary's Hospital. Previously operated by the Sisters of Mercy, the hospital was in the former Murphy mansion, 2416 South Sixth Street. A new hospital, with later additions, was built at Riverside and 24th. The Sisters of St. Joseph owned and operated the hospital until 1991 when it was sold to the Fairview Health System.

Clara Swanson recalls: This is one of the large bakery trucks and the small advertising trucks. The advertising truck would hand out small sample loaves of bread to children.
A Chisago County library that maintains its independence as an unaffiliated library is the Taylors Falls Public Library, housed in this building since 1887.
House located in Lakefield on 701 Douglas Street. Original builder was a Mr. A. N.. Douglass; who's daughter had tuberculosis and it was built to aid in the cure. Built in 1893 with maximum number of window for sunshine and fresh air, it contains 57 windows.

Display of the T.H. Lewis Collection of artifacts. These were artifacts taken from Native American burial mounds in the Mississippi River basin, and put on display for a short time at Macalester College. Macalester founder and first President Edward D. Neill was one of the first excavators of the mounds at Burial Mounds Park in St. Paul, Minnesota, and described some of the objects in this collection.
