Opening session entitled, "Information, the Emerging Giant in Economic Growth." Panel discussion topics include library technology, automation, publishing, literacy, bookselling, and ethics.
Program for the 91st annual conference of the Minnesota Library Association (MLA) held on April 16-18, 1986 in St. Paul, Minnesota. The theme for the conference was "Business is Our Business." General session topics include business information resources, "Personality Type and Job Satisfaction," library resource preservation, government secrecy, government budget cuts and library budgets, the information needs of business students, and grant writing. A musical parody "Inforama!" was performed by MLA members on the evening of April 17 and the program for the musical performance is inserted in the conference program.
