The Justice of the Peace docket is a handwritten record of civil and criminal cases heard by Justices of the Peace in Otsego, Minnesota from 1884 to 1921. These records include the names of plaintiffs and defendants, arresting constables, evidence presented, and judgments made. These details reflect local values, customs, and personalities. Included are Justices of the Peace: Z. L. Case, Charles Snow, A. W. Praught, A. Plaisance, Joseph McDonald, D. W. M Leod, and Edson Washburn, Jr. Also included are Constables A. J. Wood, L. B. Hamlet, Barnard Duffy, W. H. LaPlant, Theodore Aydt, Edmund Fisetle, and J. A. McEachern.

He is seated in the chair by the fireplace. Two of his children are also in the photograph. The oil painting over the fireplace is of the schooner yacht "America", painted by Dr. Forbes.

On the extreme left the Alsop Line's grain elevator is just visible, a barge is tied up next to it. Two other barges and the Alsop Line's steamboat "Pluck" are tied up to the Moorhead bank in the distance. Also visible is the Northern Pacific Railway bridge, the Moorhead Manufacturing Company Flour Mill and the Main Avenue bridge at extreme right.

Original will of Jane T. Harrison, co-founder of the Jones-Harrison Residence, which was established in 1888 by the Woman's Christian Association. The Jones-Harrison Residenced is believed to be Minnesota's longest continuously operating home to seniors.
