The St. Paul Free Medical Dispensary was incorporated in 1897. Cornelia Day Wilder (1868-1903) was an early supporter, and James J. Hill was Board President. In 1923, Amherst H. Wilder Charities assumed complete financial and management responsibility for the organization. Physicians and residents at the dispensary worked free of charge to provide free medical and dental care to individuals in need.

A hand written document stating the creation of the Young Men's Library Association in Winona, Minnesota, and its Board of Directors. Officers elected included Gilbert R. Tucker, president; O. P. Chisholm, vice-president; William W. Painter, treasurer; Sheldon C. Carey, secretary. Trustees for the first year were Thomas Simpson, F. E. Shandrew, E. E. Youmans, William Sinclair and J. W. Stevens.

Open to all persons engaged in library work in Minnesota as a librarian, and officers or directors of libraries. Calls for one-year appointments to the offices of president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer, and a five- member executive committee within the organization. A $1.00 fee will be charged , with no annual dues, and annual meetings will be held during the annual meeting of the Minnesota Educational Association.
