This booklet is the catalog and notes to an exhibition of weavings by Hilma Berglund. The cover includes an illustration of a floor loom with all of the parts labeled. The catalog opens with an essay by Laurence Schmeckebier, Department of Fine Arts, University of Minnesota. The rest of the booklet lists and describes each work. The pieces are samples of a wide variety of weave structures.
This booklet describes the steel and wire-making process at the Minnesota Steel Plant in Morgan Park in the 1920s. Topics include raw material for wire making, the galvanizing department, the barb wire and woven fence department, the wire nail department, and the steel plant. The booklet includes photographs of Morgan Park homes, the Lake View Store in Morgan Park, and one of the community's infant playgrounds. A small map of Morgan Park shows locations of steel plant offices, the school, churches, the hospital, and community garages.

Thisbooklet, written by Hilma Berglund, consists of 8 pages and a cover. It contains recommendations for mordanting, equipment, dyestuffs and fibers. It includes directions for the dye process and a chart of plants, mordants and resulting colors. The colors are identified using the Munsell Color System notations.
A list of all Minneapolis and Hennepin County marines, sailors, soldiers, and nurses who died while in service in World War I. The roster was accepted by the War Records Committee for the dedication of trees on the Victory Memorial Driveway, held June 11, 1921. Includes a supplement with additional names to be honored on May 30, 1922.

Morrison County, Minnesota: Its Advantages and Prospects, c. 1912. Booklet extolling the virtues of agriculture in Morrison County, Minnesota; meant to urge people to move to the county. Discusses agricultural crops produced in Morrison County. Includes a summary of agriculture awards won by Morrison County in the Minnesota State Fairs of 1908, 1909, and 1910. Author Frank B. Logan was in charge of the Morrison County exhibit starting in 1907. In 1911, he was appointed Assistant Superintendent of the Agricultural Department of the Minnesota State Fair. In 1913, he was appointed Superintendent of the Agricultural Department.
Morrison County, Minnesota: The Domain of Better Farms, c. 1925-1926. Thirty-six page booklet with blue cover; black and white photos and line drawings included throughout; discusses the advantages of living in Morrison County. Title page says, ""Come to Morrison County. Prosperity Awaits You. In the Heart of Minnesota."" Topics include a brief history of the county, Agricultural Advantages of Morrison County, Climate and Health, Soil And ""The Lay of the Land,"" Queen Cow and the dairy industry in the county, Grain Production, Crop Statistics, The Grasses, Corn in Morrison County, Potatoes, Fruits and Vegetables, Livestock and Poultry, Educational Advantages, Transportation, The Lakes of Morrison County, The City of Little Falls, The Towns and Villages of Morrison County. Also includes small maps of Morrison County and the State of Minnesota. The Minnesota map is an Auto Road Map and shows paved road running through Morrison County. The last interior page is an Information Blank to be filled out by the reader and sent to the Board of Commerce in Little Falls to receive more information on purchasing farm land.
Nichols' Headlight: Souvenir of Little Falls and Morrison County, Minnesota, 1899. Unbound document, 32 pages stored in a three-ring binder with each sheet in a sheet protector. Statement included with publisher data on first interior sheet says that Nichols' Headlight is ""A journal of progress and develoment devoted to the interests of railroads and railroad centers."" The journal encourages people to move to Morrison County and Little Falls by discussing the resources of the area. Topics include climate, description of the land, railroad lines, soil, crops, population, natural resources, businesses, institutions, and well-known residents. Includes black and white photos throughout of individuals, buildings, and various local scenes. Many of the photos in the publication are by local photographer Frank A. Nelson.
Commemoration of the first arrival in New York of Norwegian immigrants in 1825 and program of the Norse-American Centennial held on the Minnesota State Fairgrounds in June 1925.
This 64-page booklet, published by the Minnesota State Board of Immigration, extolls the value of Northeastern Minnesota as a land ideal for agriculture and livestock. The booklet describes a fertile new country with unique conditions unparalleled elsewhere." It also describes "established railways and rich markets within its own borders; contiguous to the most populous cities between Chicago and the North Pacific Coast. The booklet describes the various crops that can be raised successfully and the projected profit per acre. Includes numerous photographs of farms and livestock.
1918 plan of Stillwater, prepared by the firm of Morell & Nichols of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Landscape Architects and Engineers. The plan includes maps, blueprints, and photographs.
R.B. McLean came to Superior, Wisconsin, in June of 1854 on the schooner "Algonquin." McLean recollects several trips along Lake Superior's North Shore, both before and after the 1854 Treaty of LaPointe, searching for veins of copper. He discusses early settlers on the North Shore, the first election in St. Louis County in 1855, the first mail route from Superior to Grand Portage (which McLean delivered), and the first cabins built in Duluth in the winter of 1854-55.
