This ledger contains the handwritten minutes of the meetings of the Board of Trustees of the Grand Marais Public Library, in Grand Marais, Minnesota, from the first meeting in December 1904 through September 1967. The establishment and development of the library can be traced through these notes, along with the participation of many prominent community members who considered the library an important asset to their town.
The Carleton College viewbook introduced the college to prospective students and their parents and to friends and prospective friends of the college. The publication included information relating to the campus and to student life as reflected in academics, student organizations, and sports and leisure time activities.Photographs of May Fetes, College Farm Barn, and the Northfield Town were included.
A collection of photos collected and organized by Carleton College student, Edith Griffith, Class of 1896. Her album includes photos from 1892 to 1926. She collected the majority of photos while she was at Carleton College until she was graduated in 1896.

Printed program for the 25th annual conference of the Minnesota Library Association (MLA), which was held October 8-10, 1917 at the St. Paul public library in St. Paul, Minnesota. The conference began with a twenth-figth anniversary dinner, followed by a joint session with the Twin City Library Club. Outside conference activities included an automobile ride for visiting librarians.
Printed program for the 24th annual conference of the Minnesota Library Association (MLA), which was held September 6-8, 1916 at the public library in Virginia, Minnesota. In addition to a full program, a banquet was given by the Library Board of Virginia. Songs by Miss Inez Davey of Eveleth and music by Anhalt's orchestra were enjoyed. Guests were later taken to the Lyric Theater. An automobile trip to Eveleth, Mountain Iron, Chisholm, and Hibbing was offered, and a visit to Hull-Rust, Mahoning mines, the largest open pit mines in the world.
