The Consolidated School in Nicollet, Minnesota, was a familiar sight to generations of students. The decision to consolidate district schools in the Nicollet area and to construct this school building was made in 1916. The building was demolished in 1985.

This postcard shows Johnson Hall on the Gustavus Adolphus College campus and is addressed to Mr. Peter Broberg, New London, Minn. The back reads, "Visited G.A.C. today and had a pleasant chat with Dr. Uhler. Am now waiting for train to Rock Island, Ill. Thanks for all you did for me! Andrew P. Lundberg[?]"
This room was dedicated to Mr. Greenleaf Clark, and is on the third floor of the library. The ceiling panels show the decorative patterns that will eventually be painted.
This photograph was taken from what is now Market Street between 4th and 5th Streets. Smoke is coming from the chimney of the James J. Hill Reference Library, indicating that the heating system is now working. Work is still being done on the main entrance to that library. A crane is still in front of the Saint Paul Public Library. An advertisement on the barricade reads "Say Gordon When You Say Hat."

Printed program for the 24th annual conference of the Minnesota Library Association (MLA), which was held September 6-8, 1916 at the public library in Virginia, Minnesota. In addition to a full program, a banquet was given by the Library Board of Virginia. Songs by Miss Inez Davey of Eveleth and music by Anhalt's orchestra were enjoyed. Guests were later taken to the Lyric Theater. An automobile trip to Eveleth, Mountain Iron, Chisholm, and Hibbing was offered, and a visit to Hull-Rust, Mahoning mines, the largest open pit mines in the world.
