Map shows of the condition of the St. Anthony Falls Apron, made up of old oak planking (1877), new oak planking (1885), and new pine planking (1885). Some of the planking is quite worn and damaged by ice and lumber. "Note: Outline of Apron, etc. is from surveys of 1874-76. Soundings reduced to low-water plane of April 4, 1883."

Map shows Victory Memorial parkway and the grandstand and speaker's stand for dedication day, June 11, 1921. The Parkway was created in the wake of World War I, with an elm tree planted for every Hennepin County resident who died in the war.

This map corresponds with the published book, Plan of Minneapolis, prepared under the direction of the Civic commission, MCMXVII, by Edward H. Bennett, architect, 227 pages, 1917.
