The Children's Readmobile, jointly operated by the Hennepin County Library and the Minneapolis Public Library. The first Readmobile was purchased in 1991, with a second added in 2003.

Two boys read near a card catalog in the Hosmer branch of Minneapolis Public Library. Originally known as the Thirty-sixth Street Branch, this building was built in 1916 with funds from the Carnegie Corporation and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.
