House of John S. Bradstreet in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Bradstreet was an architect influenced by the Arts and Crafts movement and Orientalism. This image is by Arthur Adams, Minneapolis high school teacher, local historian, and photographer. Adams traveled throughout Minnesota, taking photographs to augment his lectures. His studio was located at 3648 Lyndale Avenue South in Minneapolis.
Exterior view of the Swedish Mansion, this later became the American-Swedish Institute. Turnbald's home was completed in 1908 and in 1929 it became the American Swedish Institute.
