This is an original plat of Olmsted County with many handwritten notes and drawings showing early Minnesota settlers, farmers and other town landscape features. This map is the earliest documentation we have found in our collection of the farms, towns, and topography of Olmsted County, Minnesota.

This 1889 map of the Duluth area (including parts of St. Louis and Carlton counties in Minnesota and Douglas County in Wisconsin) was compiled and drawn from U.S. Land and Coast Surveys by R.H.L. Jewett. It was done at a scale of one inch to one mile, and includes roads, railroads, rivers, streams, and lakes.

Includes many geographic features, including: Andrew Lake, Bass Lake, Crow River, Mill Pond, Green Lake Beach, Echo Beach, Northwood Beach, and Cresent Beach. Includes two maps of Kandiyohi County.
This map of Lake Minnetonka shows the streetcar and the streetcar boat lines and stops, from Groveland in the east to Zumbra Heights in the west. Streetcar stops on the south side of the Lake are Birch Bluff, Excelsior, Christmas Lake, Vine Hill, Pergatory and Glen Lake. Streetcar stops on the east side of the Lake are Deephaven, Northome, Breezy Point, and Groveland. Lake Minnetonka is 20 miles long and four miles wide with a charmingly irregular shore line of over 300 miles. V.O. Hammon trademark is printed on back, postmarked 1909.
