A map showing the community variously known as Dakota, Dakota City, or Dakota Mills, including streets, blocks, and lots. The Minnesota River is included, as is a building labeled as McNutt's Dakota Mills. The community was located in Section 34, T109N, R28W in Nicollet County, and was "surveyed in 1856, drawn by Anthony D. McSweeney" for William H. McNutt, who is listed as the proprietor. This town did not survive the severe economic downturn that began in 1857 that affected the entire United States and the Territory of Minnesota. It can now be regarded as part of Lost Minnesota.

This 1890 atlas embraces the corporations of West Duluth and Lakeside and the platted lands adjoining; also acreage maps of the territory in the State of Minnesota, within a radius of about twelve miles, showing the property of the different land and improvement companies. The atlas shows houses, businesses, government buildings, schools, and churches. It includes an index of correct titles of all Duluth additions, divisions, and sub-divisions.
Cooperative Power Association, Minneapolis, Minnesota, and United Power Association, Elk River, Minnesota, power line placement maps for Grant County and portions of Traverse and Stevens counties. Each map shows tower placement on copies of aerial photographs of affected properties and a graph showing elevations of towers above sea level.

Map shows of the condition of the St. Anthony Falls Apron, made up of old oak planking (1877), new oak planking (1885), and new pine planking (1885). Township maps show the property owners, location of roads, railroad tracks, schools, rivers, farm houses, cemeteries and mills.
