St. Paul's College in St. Paul Park, organized in 1889 offered both a preparatory and collegiate course. St. Paul's was organized and supported by the Northern German Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church. This conference included German Methodist congregation in Minnesota plus some in Wisconsin and North Dakota. The school operated until 1917, closing under financial difficulties and the stress of being a German-speaking institution during World War I. Supporters were encouraged to shift allegiance to Hamline University.

Attendees of the Young People's Alliance, District Convention at the Sleepy Eye Evangelical Church pose in front of the church on the lawn. This movement won approval of the General Conference in 1891. It was the organization which had been designed to bring unification among the young people of the Church, as well as to consolidate the numerous Jugend-Bunds (Youth Leagues) which had formed in Evangelical Association congregations throughout the country. As a youth society, its purpose was the promotion of intellectual, religious, and social culture and to train young people in Christian living and for service in the Church. It served to fill the gap between the Sunday School and the Church.

The "Arthur Orr" was a 286 foot, 2,329 ton steel package freighter. It was wrecked at the mouth of the Baptism River on Lake Superior's North Shore. It was loaded with flour, copper and shingles. Salvage and repairs cost $10,000.

Advertisement for animal feed sold by the International Stock Food Company of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Features the champion 4-year-old trotting stallion Directum and his record speed of 2minutes, 5.25 seconds. Also includes speeds for other race horses. International Stock Food Company was owned by Marion Savage, who bought race horse Dan Patch to help promote his business. Consequently, Dan Patch is featured on many International Stock Food Products.

The photograph is taken from present day 4th corners of Washington and 4th Streets. Window frames are now installed being installed on the third floors of the library. The roof will soon enclose the library. The power lift is still needed for the finishing work.
The photograph is taken from an elevated position on present day Kellogg Boulevard. Roof trusses are in place and soon the roofing materials will be fixed in place. The power lift is still needed to move materials to the various floors of the library. Construction workers can be seen on the roof. Below the power lift can be seen three round arches. These arches make up the loading and delivery dock for the library.
The photograph is taken from an elevated position on present day Kellogg Boulevard. The scaffolds with their cranes, and the power lift have been removed. Finishing work continues on the room. Three rectangular openings on the roof will be for skylights. Windows that have the frames installed are now being sealed.
W. O. Powell's Paint Shop in St. Peter was able to do several types of work, including paper hanging, whitening ceilings, and kalsomining, in addition to house and sign painting. This is a stereo image of the shop.
Woolnough's Maple Heights Inn and cottages sits on a bluff overlooking Lake Minnetonka, with a long staircase leading from a gazebo to the shore, post office address: Woolnough, Minnesota.
Women's organization, the Woodstock Guards of Loyalty, posing in uniform on the steps of the Pipestone County Courthouse. The purpose of the group was to band the ladies together to assist in carrying on the work of the men who were called to the colors, to help the United States in the prosecution of the war and, if need be, to go on the battle line to fight for democracy.

The 1971 date book featured the "new look" of Duluth, Minnesota, highlighting new construction, additions and renovations to buildings throughout the city.
The 1973 date book featured scenes from three major storms that hit Duluth, Minnesota in the summer of 1972. The storms of August 16, August 20 and September 20, 1972, left millions of dollars in damage. The images include flooded streets and businesses, washed out streets, and Duluth residents working to mitigate the storms' effects.
The 1974 date book featured scenes of the previous fifteen years of activity on the Duluth-Superior waterfront, after the opening of the St. Lawrence Seaway. Images include port facilities, ships, ice-coated tankers, sailboat races and more.
The 1975 date book featured the St. Louis County Heritage and Arts Center, its member organizations and the cultural activities in Duluth, Superior and northeastern Minnesota. There are photographs of festivals, train cars, sculptures, local cultural buildings and other related items.
The 1976 date book focused on the then newly-created Spirit Mountain Recreational Area, which overlooks Duluth, Minnesota. There are photographs of facilities like tennis courts, ski trails, villas and the Chalet, as well as of people skiing, dining, and camping.
The 1977 date book featured photographs of early transportation facilities in the city of Duluth, Minnesota, including trains, streetcars trolleys, steamships, the Incline Railway, and airplanes.
