Signatures of attorneys registered to practice law in the State of Minnesota. Names were verified and biographical data obtained from Minnesota Biographies (MHS 1912), Legislators Past and Present (website), State Board of Law Examiners register (1891-1921), Minnesota birth and death certificates indexes, Minnesota court system websites, published alumni directories of the University of Minnesota law school and the St. Paul College of Law, Minnesota Legal History Project (website), the Minnesota Historical Society's online catalog (PALS), and a variety of miscellaneous sources.
Game wardens were important men in the backwoods of Minnesota. Noted above most was the Native American warden, John or Jack Linklater. Another of lasting fame was William Hanson.
Rail service reached Winton in 1902 when the Duluth and Iron Range Railroad extended service to Fall Lake and Winton. Sixty years later the station was still open two hours each day as the train still thundered through.
The Linden Hills branch of the Minneapolis Public Library moved into this building at 2900 West Forty-third Street in 1931, with a stock of 10,000 books. In 2000 the building was added to the National Register of Historic Places.

Two chiropractic students and chiropractic faculty member Ransom Goines are putting a tube of blood in a centrifuge on the Park Avenue campus. In 1983, to accommodate growth in student population and programs, the college moved to its current location in Bloomington, Minnesota. In 1999, Northwestern College of Chiropractic was renamed Northwestern Health Sciences University to reflect its addition of programs in other alternative medicine fields.

Four men perform on a stage decorated with calendars in costume (doctor, patient, doctor, lawyer) at the Mount Sinai Hospital Women's Auxiliary Annual Ball, the biggest social event of the season. Listed on the back in no particular order: Martin Orbach; Art Felsenberg; Bob Meslansky; Alex Hartman. Mount Sinai Hospital was built in Minneapolis, Minnesota, during the 1950s to address the discrimination Jewish doctors experienced admitting Jewish patients to local hospitals. The Auxiliary members promoted the work of Mount Sinai Hospital and assisted needy members of the community through volunteer service, fundraising and public relations.
