Hilma Berglund printed this card in black ink on red paper, cut into a triangle, mounted onto slightly larger triangles of aqua and black paper, and trimmed with silver lurex thread. An envelope and letter match the aqua paper trimming the card. The card is 9 x 21 cm. There are two handwritten note on the letter.

This Concordia Society Yearbook includes membership listing, the president's address, and various committee reports including financials. The Concordia Society was a benevolent women's society organized October 17, 1901, at the Swedish Hospital of Minneapolis. The Concordia Society was primarily dedicated to providing free beds and other services to persons in need of medical care. The Swedish Hospital was run by and for Swedish immigrants.
Paper cut out, colorful traditional Polish folk art. Book form with 13 paper cut outs, accordian style binding. "Wycinanki" is the Polish word for "paper-cut design." This Polish folk art tradition features floral motifs, birds, trees, and village scenes.
This pamphlet was used to educate Dakota people about Tuberculosis. The Santee Normal Training School instructed Dakota children in the Dakota language. These children came from families who were removed from Minnesota to Nebraska after the U.S.-Dakota War in 1863. Reverend A.L. Riggs founded the school in 1870 as an academy to train Native teachers. The school developed a printing press in 1871 and produced many materials in the Dakota language.

Advertisement for animal feed sold by the International Stock Food Company of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Features the champion 4-year-old trotting stallion Directum and his record speed of 2minutes, 5.25 seconds. Also includes speeds for other race horses. International Stock Food Company was owned by Marion Savage, who bought race horse Dan Patch to help promote his business. Consequently, Dan Patch is featured on many International Stock Food Products.
