Hilma Berglund screen-printed this Christmas card in 1966 using dark blue ink on ivory card stock. There is a matching envelope and enclosed letter on ivory paper. The top features a nature scene with birds, ferns, flowers and mushrooms silhouetted against a blue background. The card measures 12.4 x 14.5 cm.

The 1966 annual meeting of the Minnesota Academy of Science took place at Macalester College on April 15-16, 1966. This program shows 60+ scientific talks, ranging from manned space flight to "Non-Marginal Advocates of Cultural Change: A Norther Cheyenne Example" to "The Chemical Modification of Carbohydrates for Commercial Use." There was a three-year report on the Cedar Creek Natural History Area. Activities included multiple planetarium shows and meetings of Sigma Delta Epsilon and the Minnesota College Chemistry Teachers Section. The program booklet includes of list of "Supporting Memberships" by 30 companies, including General Mills, Honeywell, and Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing. The Spring/Summer 1966 edition of the Geological Society of Minnesota (GSM) newsletter mentioned completion of the 32-site geologic marker program, and included society notices, memorials to Lulu Zalusky, Nellie E.
