Carl O. Pedersen, a Norwegian-born Lutheran clergyman, was influential in the Norse-American Centennial celebrations throughout the United States, including New York and Minnesota. During this celebration in Leif Ericson square, an unidentified man is giving a speech to the attendees of the parade.

The Mains family were photographed in Russia before their move to the United States. Alexander Mains, seated at the far left, eventually settled in St Paul, Minnesota, where he married his wife Daisy and ran a successful shoe store.

Overview of Leif Eriksson International Festival activities held September 26 - October 9, 2016 at Mindekirken Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This includes three church services and two concerts held at the church and a concert at the Danish American Center.
The Danebo building was expanded adding a north wing in 1961. One of the Danish workman is laying the cornerstone. This building started as Danebo, a home for Danish seniors, and was later repurposed as the Danish American Center in 2005.
Invitation to the Icelandic Kvennahlaup (women's walk) to be held on June 18, 2017 at Bryant Lake Park, Eden Prairie, Minnesota. Initially held in Iceland, this event is held world-wide, promoting women's fitness.
