Consequently, Dan Patch is featured on many International Stock Food Products. The horse and his owner had a close connection: Dan Patch died July 11, 1916; Savage died of a heart attack a few days later. Dan Patch became less significant as America embraced the automobile. Ironically, Savage started manufacturing the Dan Patch automobile in 1911.

Oral history of Elnora "Nora" McGuire, interviewed by Tom Imes. Nora's interview focuses on growing up and living at Long Point and Zippel Bay and commercial fishing.
Morgan May's handwritten farm journal from February 9, 1861, through April 14, 1871. Morgan May, a farmer from England, was the first settler in the part of Washington County, Minnesota, now known as May Township. His journal provides a detailed record of the day-to-day operation of a large commerical farm including entries about the weather, crops, livestock, farm hands, implement and household purchases, barn construction, wages, travel and visitors as well as personal comments.
Two men unload an over-sized onion from a wagon while a third man watches. In the field are two large piles of onions. Tall-tale postcards use photographic montage to create images of over-sized produce and animals. Fruits, vegetables and fish are the most common subjects.

Discusses agricultural crops produced in Morrison County. Includes a summary of agriculture awards won by Morrison County in the Minnesota State Fairs of 1908, 1909, and 1910. Author Frank B. Logan was in charge of the Morrison County exhibit starting in 1907. In 1911, he was appointed Assistant Superintendent of the Agricultural Department of the Minnesota State Fair. In 1913, he was appointed Superintendent of the Agricultural Department.
