Harold Nelson, Member of the Minnesota Dahlia Society and superintendent of the flower division at the Minnesota State Fair admiring his dahlia display. He has been cultivating dahlias since 1931 and maintains that growing them is habit forming.
Built in 1880 the Savage Minnesota Railroad Depot closed in 1970. During 1973 the Depot, without the outhouse, was purchased and moved to Murphy's Landing in Shakopee Minnesota. In 2005 the City of Savage, Minnesota repurchased the building and returned it to Savage's Town Square, across the road from its original location. Del Stelling worked as a newspaper reporter and photographer, covering Savage, Burnsville, Eagan and other areas of Dakota County, Minnesota from 1959 - 1984.
Lawrence Arnesen interviews Henry Asmus on commercial fishing in the first half of the 20th century on Lake of the Woods with a focus on Long Point and Rocky Point. Later they discuss steamboats which traveled on Lake of the Woods and Rainy River.
