Founded in 1959, ECRL is the oldest existing regional public library system in Minnesota. Headquartered in Cambridge, it is a consolidated library system with 14 libraries and Outreach Services and serves residents in Aitkin, Chisago, Isanti, Kanabec, Mille Lacs, and Pine counties.
Veterinarian Myron H. Reynolds in buggy, drawn by his horse Lucille. Reynolds, trained as a veterinarian, pharmacist, and physician, was appointed staff veterinarian at the Division of Veterinary Science in the College of Agriculture at the St. Paul Campus of the University of Minnesota in 1893. He helped organize the Minnesota Veterinary Medical Association, served on the Minnesota Board of Health and on the Livestock Sanitary Board. He was the University's only veterinarian until 1904.
