Diamondhead Mall, Burnsville Parkway, Burnsville, Minnesota opened in 1974 with 28 stores. After the mall closed in 1998 School District 191 purchased the building.

An unidentified boy in front of what is likely the oldest building in Savage, Minnesota. Originally the Berrisford Store moved from Burnsville to Savage in 1904 it became Garvey's Store. In 1969 Jens Bohn opened the Razors Edge Barbershop, which remained open until his death in 2018.

The original St. James Lutheran Church (1944-1963) became the American Legion Club after the church relocated to Burnsville, Minnesota in 1963. It was located on what is now 124th Street, Savage Minnesota.
Allen's Dodge Dealership and Ambulance Service on Minnesota Street (renamed 123rd Street West) Savage Minnesota was established at the same location in 1915. When owner Ed Allen retired in 1973, he sold the business, which became Southside Dodge. A portion of the original building remains in use as McHale Auto Body. Del Stelling worked as a newspaper reporter and photographer, covering Savage, Burnsville, Eagan and other areas of Dakota County, Minnesota from 1959 - 1984.
Winter view of the remnants of the Whitney Brothers rock crushing business that stand in Lake Superior off the shore at Canal Park near the Aerial lift bridge. William A. Whitney and E. Harvey Whitney of Superior, Wisconsin, had a sand and gravel processing business. The largest concrete form was the dredging or crushing building. The structure was built in 1919. A tunnel ran from the building to Minnesota Point. There was a conveyor belt and railroad spur adjacent to the concrete building. Sand from the Apostle Islands and gravel from Grand Marais were carried to Duluth on a small vessel named LIMIT. There was also a tug the WILLIAM A. WHITNEY.

The building is nearing the end of construction with workers standing in front of the building. Photographer Ole Sparstad lived and worked in Sacred Heart during the years 1882-1916.

Elevator and Lake Superior & Mississippi Depot, Stillwater, MN. Elevator was erected in 1870 and has a capacity of 38,000 bushels. Lake Superior & Mississippi Division of the Northern Pacific Railroad was completed to Stillwater in 1871.

This photo shows the exterior of Theodore Knoll's general store in St. Peter, which was located on the northeast corner of the intersection of Third street and Park Row. A number of men and women appear in the photo, as does a horse-drawn wagon.
Charles L. Phelps operated a grocery and tinware store in St. Peter. The 1899 St. Peter City Directory indicates that his store was on the north side of Nassau Street in that year, but it is not known where the building in this photograph was located.
