Joe's 1997 publication is "Golf Beats Us All (And So We Love It)," a philosophical reflection on the pleasures and wisdom of the game that "cause so much pain, wastes so much time, and whose outcome is of utter insignificance" but remains intriguingly beloved to many; interviewed at Braemar Golf Course in Edina by Bill Brady, Executive Director of the Minnesota Library Association and weekend duffer.
