The Record documents the World War I service of members of Plymouth Congregational Church, Minneapolis, Minnesota. It includes pictures of the dedication of the World War I Memorial (designed and built by the company of Hewitt and Brown) and the service flags that hung in the sanctuary during the war. It lists the four members who died in the war and the others who served, including their rank, date of entry, and date of discharge.

This 64-page booklet, published by the Minnesota State Board of Immigration, extolls the value of Northeastern Minnesota as a land ideal for agriculture and livestock. The booklet describes a fertile new country with unique conditions unparalleled elsewhere." It also describes "established railways and rich markets within its own borders; contiguous to the most populous cities between Chicago and the North Pacific Coast. The booklet describes the various crops that can be raised successfully and the projected profit per acre. Includes numerous photographs of farms and livestock.

Statement included with publisher data on first interior sheet says that Nichols' Headlight is ""A journal of progress and develoment devoted to the interests of railroads and railroad centers."" The journal encourages people to move to Morrison County and Little Falls by discussing the resources of the area. Topics include climate, description of the land, railroad lines, soil, crops, population, natural resources, businesses, institutions, and well-known residents. Includes black and white photos throughout of individuals, buildings, and various local scenes. Many of the photos in the publication are by local photographer Frank A. Nelson.

Also includes small maps of Morrison County and the State of Minnesota. The Minnesota map is an Auto Road Map and shows paved road running through Morrison County. The last interior page is an Information Blank to be filled out by the reader and sent to the Board of Commerce in Little Falls to receive more information on purchasing farm land.

Discusses agricultural crops produced in Morrison County. Includes a summary of agriculture awards won by Morrison County in the Minnesota State Fairs of 1908, 1909, and 1910. Author Frank B. Logan was in charge of the Morrison County exhibit starting in 1907. In 1911, he was appointed Assistant Superintendent of the Agricultural Department of the Minnesota State Fair. In 1913, he was appointed Superintendent of the Agricultural Department.
